2016 vs. 2018
There was a year that I was "lucky twice": pass 2 summer exchanges at the same time. The 2016 GKS for ASIAN SCIENs and the 2016 POSTECH Open Lam program. I chose POSTECH because I could do Chemistry experiments there and dropped GKS because Animal Science was the only provided area. In the end, my choice was right to me as I gained so much valuable experience: up-to-date facilities, convoluted research areas, connection, and more important, my vision was widened. I've always appreciate that short-term program as it did have great influence on me.
Recently, I haven't been so fortunate like before. I've failed quite bad that in a moment I somehow lose all of my confidence. I had always think that I was a loser, until my friends kept asking me on scientific terms, juniors in my university kept asking me for advice to apply for summer exchanges. I started to gain back my confidence, start to think that my performance on "papers" (I mean the application forms) was not as good as my true self. Then, a plan was initiated and I am going to "take revenge". And that is me in 2018, at the current point of time, begin again everything and aim to the target of being a specialist in solar cells.
